It is very common for toddlers to move around while sleeping. Sometimes when they are away from their parents they feel a bit anxious or uncomfortable.

When a toddler scoots over to you while sleeping it may be just to feel reassured and comfortable in your warmth.

They feel separation anxiety sometimes and that could be the reason for this behaviour. Scooting to you might help them to sleep better at night.
